My personal experience with graduate-staffs who work with me that have CET 4 or 6, their English conversation are below par. They just cannot communicate well in meeting or teleconference with oversea clients. All they say, is yeah, yeah, yeah This is a failure of the teaching of English in the country. On the other hand, I have staff who are just mere CET 4 but after working two years with a MNC that has chance to communicate with oversea clients, like, Singapore, malaysia， British, Dutch, American or French. Their English, both written and spoken had improved tremendously. I would said some of the clients may not be speaking perfect English, but I can see that the Chinese engineers are forced to speak orf write in English for all transactions. English is some how the common language for our dealings. Therefore to really put in practise is the best way to improve your English.
